In 2009, Praise Fest was created to bring back families and communities for a weekend of A Gospel Music Experience along with family fun activities in the aftermath of one of the nation’s most devastating hurricanes Hurricane Katrina.
Praise Fest is a highly anticipated 3-day Outdoor Event that is FREE to all and take place every October on Bayou St. John.
In the wake of COVID-19 and the Global Pandemic that we’ve all experienced 3 years ago we need to continue to be UPLIFTED! We are gearing up for another great festival October 17-19, 2025!
We are very excited about the Local and National Christian/Gospel music artists, entertainers, and world renowned speakers that will once again Bless us over the 3-day period. The purpose of this event is to bring different cultures together to Praise & orship the Lord Jesus Christ as one body. The audience is compiled of families, churches, community leaders, and professionals.
